(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED STATES - 12th May 2010 - At the temple where the Kechak (Balinese drama) performance is held, school children dressed like angels, escort the incentive program participants to the temple performance arena.

The evening concludes as the guests witness a colossal Kechak ritual during dinner. 2,000 performers, sitting around a large burning torch, depict the battle of Prince Rama versus the evil King Ravana, and the rescue of Princess Sita, who has been kidnapped by King Ravana.

The choruses of men provide the orchestral accompaniment with complex and varied chants that accompany their swaying movements. The only music to accompany them are the beats of their palms hitting their chests, their thighs, or their claps. Flickering torches provide lmbient lighting and an enchanting atmosphere.
