Thimphu Tshechu festival occurs in September 25 - 27, which is best time to visit Nepal and Bhutan. The festival is dedicated to Guru Padmasambhava, known in the Himalayas as Guru Rinpochhe. Guru Rinpochhe was Tantric Buddhist saint and teacher who brought Buddhism in the Himalayas in 8th century. We will fly to Paro, Bhutan from Kathmandu, Nepal and drive to Thimphu to participate in the festival.
