New features include a state-of-the-art hotel reviewing feature, taking hotel reviewing to a new level. Before submitting a review, the user selects a certain point of view, an age group and a home country for the review. Together these three choices define a traveler type, an aspect often missing from hotel reviews on many hotel booking web sites. After the traveler type is set, the user either likes or dislikes certain hotel features, by clicking a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" button for each category. Categories include "I would go again", "Cleanliness", "Value", etc.).

Reviewing is easy and quick, and there are no written reviews. When searching hotels, Hoddler is able to sort the results based on a selected traveler type, by putting the hotels with the best "I would go again" score on top of the result list. As a result users find hotels of their interest faster. Hoddler offers content, availability, price information and booking functionality for over 100,000 online hotels worldwide.
