It works as a practical resource and well as driving the imagination, suggesting places that lie both on and off the beaten track. Johns added: "The inspiration for Bring Me Sunshine came while planning a trip with my own family. We found our ideal destination, and hopefully others will too".

Available for iPhone and iPad, Bring Me Sunshine is out now on the App Store for the special introductory price of $0.99 / £0.59.
