The Republic of Ireland are set to welcome the Czech Republic to Dublin's Aviva Stadium in an international friendly on February 29th.

The friendly match is due to kick off at 19:45 local time and should benefit from a celebratory atmosphere, as Ireland have qualified for this summer's Euro 2012 tournament in Poland and Ukraine.

Manager Giovanni Trapattoni is therefore expected to use the game as preparation for the championships by fielding a strong side in the Irish capital.
