Staff Appointments At Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha

·       New Director of Sales at the Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha is Rouxshin Vajifdar, who has been promoted from her former role as Assistant Director of Sales.  Since joining the hotel in March 2010, Rouxshin has been responsible for the Sales, Revenue and Reservations Department, as well as assisting with food and beverage promotions. Rouxshin has been in charge of these departments for the past one year.

Her previous associations have been with Habtoor Hospitality, Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts and Hyatt International.

·       Taking up the position of Front Office Manager at the Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha, is Aurea Juni Sison, who joins the hotel from the pre opening of the Diplomatic Club Hotel, West Bay, Doha where she held a similar post.

A graduate of Leyte University in the Philippines, Ms Juni has lived and worked in the Gulf for 12 years, starting her career in the region as assistant customer services manager at Le Meridien Dubai, before working on the pre-opening of both the Habtoor Grand Resort & Spa and Qamardeen Hotel, and then moving to take charge of the front office at the Ramada Downtown Dubai.

·       Ivor Noel Seneviratne is the new Executive Housekeeper at Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha. Upholding an experience of two years as Complex Housekeeper at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi and The Westin in Dubai. With a  experience of 10 years in Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, Ivor was an integral part of Opening Team of the Westin in Dubai..

A Sri Lankan national, he trained at the Mount Royal Beach Hotel there, moving to the Colombo Hilton as Housekeeping Coordinator in the opening team before taking a position as Floor Supervisor at the Renaissance Hotel in Dubai.
