Singapore's Marina Bay will play host to a unique exhibition of sustainable light art at the iLight festival this March.

The second edition of Asia's first and only sustainable light art festival will be held between March 9th and April 1st 2012, with 30 innovative and environmentally-friendly works set to transform the area into a spectacularly colourful art space.

Focusing on the theme of "light meets Asia", the festival will present works from artists hailing from a range of backgrounds, including contributors from China, Japan, Indonesia and the US, as well as Singapore itself.

The organisers are hoping the 2012 event can build on the success of the inaugural iLight exhibition, which took place in 2010.
