Kuala Lumpur's Malaysia International Exhibition and Convention Centre will be organising an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Leonardo da Vinci in February 2012.

(TRAVPR.COM) UK - January 20th, 2012 - Kuala Lumpur is to play host to the Da Vinci Machines exhibition next month, providing tourists with an opportunity to learn more about one of history's greatest geniuses.

To be held at the Malaysia International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC) between February 3rd and April 15th 2012, the event includes more than 70 exhibits, which have been loaned out by the Leonardo da Vinci Museum in Florence.

Showcasing the amazing work of the Florentine Renaissance man in the fields of art and engineering, it will feature reproductions of some of his iconic paintings, including the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper.

Attendees will also be able to see more than 60 machines created from original da Vinci drawings, including groundbreaking flying inventions, hydraulic innovations and war machines.

Giant art panels, computer animations, film screenings and copies of da Vinci codices will also be on display.

Guests will be able to attend the exhibition between 10:00 and 18:00 local time during weekdays, with opening times extending until 20:00 on weekends and public holidays.
