(TRAVPR.COM) NORWAY - December 8th, 2011 - Experience, learn and master the Sami Lifestyle with Sami Culture at North Norway; a perfect weekend escape for families who need relaxing time together.

It has been a tradition that travellers are sitting on the sideline when participating in adventures or activities while on vacation, but this is about to change. Life is more than a classroom experience; Sami Culture takes you closer to Sami Culture and Arctic Experiences than ever before and this can change the travel industry forever.

The product
Sami Culture offers relaxing holiday to people who need an escape from boring and hectic everyday life. You will experience, learn and master the Sami lifestyle like the Sami reindeer herders. Children are also happy to participate and will have their own guide through your stay, while they play with Sami children and communicate with the language of their heart.

Stay four days at Sami Culture and learn how to master training reindeers for sledding, how to tame Rudolf for amazing sledding tours. You will train your own reindeer, we will teach you how to do it. The children will tame their own baby reindeer with their own guide; they are also going to ride this reindeer before they leave. The first day you will learn how to catch the reindeers with a lasso, you´re going to be a real master of the lasso. The second day you will catch the reindeer and learn how to calm it down, this reindeer has never been trained before. The third day we will learn your reindeer to follow you while you lead it and to pull a sled while you lead it. The fourth day we will go reindeer sledding with your reindeer, now it´s time to see the results of your work. These are important techniques of Sami Culture, now available for you!

Daily we eat lunch in a Sami tent while we talk about techniques and Sami Culture history, tales from the culture and how life in Sapmi is for reindeer herders. We teach you how to yoik (Sami traditional song) and how to use the magic Sami drum. This is a fantastic experience and adventure for people searching for genuine Sami Culture experiences in the Arctic.

You can choose between staying at a high standard hotel, medium standard hotel or at a Sami tent to make your experience more genuine. Staying in a tent makes the experience complete, this gives guests the opportunity to really stay with the reindeers and experience how quiet nature of North Norway. When guests stay at our camp we serve the lunch in the tent and eat all daily meals in a Sami tent. Daily the Samis in our camp teach visitors how to cook Sami meals – another Sami lifestyle experience.

We also have evening offers for guests who want to go Northern Lights snowshoeing or snowmobile trip at the valley or on the mountain plateau.
