The highly successful travel review and advice forum for travellers aged 50+, Silver Travel Advisor (www.silvertraveladvisor.com), has launched new travel writer workshops, to take place at RHS Garden Wisley in spring 2012. 

Run by experienced journalists Nick Dalton and Deborah Stone, who between them have many years’ experience of working on national newspapers, including the Telegraph, The Times, Daily and Sunday Express, magazines and travel guide books, the courses take place on 28th February and 19th March 2012 and cost £85 per person, or £75pp when two or more places are booked. 

The price includes a morning’s travel writing workshop, coffee, tea and biscuits, a £10 voucher towards lunch at Wisley, and the afternoon to enjoy the RHS garden in early spring bloom. 

The travel writing workshop covers motivations and inspirations for travel writing, a review of sample articles to be discussed for their content and style, a talk about travel writing in newspapers, magazines, on blogs and self-publishing, and finally a session on how to set up a travel blog, concluding with Q & A.
