Costa Rica won the award to the best stand in the fair World Travel Market in London, for using factors that transported people to the country, through sound effects and its overall design

(TRAVPR.COM) COSTA RICA - November 22nd, 2011 - Costa Rica received the award to the best stand design in the fair WTM (World Travel Market), most important activity of the English market, which took place on November 7th-11th.Thanks to the selection of sound effects of the tropical forest, the music and the overall design, which produce the feeling of being in Costa Rica, were the factors that led to its selection by the organizers and participants.

The stand located in the Excel London Convention Center is 250 m2 and highlights the abundance of nature and the sustainability of the destination, which represents the differentiating element compared to other markets.

According to a press release of the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT), the Minister of Tourism, Allan Flores, highlighted the importance of participating in this fair with other 25 Costa Rican companies. This fair is the most important in the English market, and is focused in sustainable tourism, according to the model of tourism development that the country promotes.
