This holiday season, visitors to the White Mountains can mix them all together in one weekend trip for a Christmas to remember.

The Mount Washington Cog Railway, The Rocks Estate in Bethlehem and Santa's Village in Jefferson are just a few minutes apart from each other and families looking for Christmas tradition and holiday cheer will find it, beginning on Nov. 19.

The Cog's Santa Trains run at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, concluding Dec. 4 (The Cog also operates during the week, while Santa is overseeing North Pole operations). Departing the Marshfield Station, the train, joined by Santa Claus himself, climbs halfway up Mount Washington, to Kroflite Kamp, where passengers can get off the train and see the sweeping mountain panorama and, Santa will tell you, almost right up to the North Pole.

Back down in the valley, The Rocks Estate in Bethlehem continues its holiday traditions, where families can fan out in search of the perfect Christmas tree and children can visit with the Green Santa, who gives out seedlings for them to take home. Horse-drawn wagon rides, a fire to roast marshmallows and the merriment of the season make this a popular destination at Christmastime.

When the sun goes down behind the mountains, it's time to head over to Santa's Village, where hundreds of thousands of colored lights twinkle in the twilight. The park is open and Santa Claus, on a break from the North Pole, listens to every child's Christmas wish list. Many of the rides are open, including the Skyway Sleigh, which circles the park high above the holiday lights and just below the first stars coming out for the evening.

Visitors should dress warmly for this unique Christmas adventure and be sure bring a camera.
