Nov 15, 2011 – TourPackages.com.sg, a premier travel portal which helps Singaporeans with travel research, travel booking and holiday ideas, has announced a name change to TripZilla.com, effective as of 15th November 2011.

“The new name more accurately reflects our commitment to our users, and is part of our strategic move to solidify our position as Singapore’s most comprehensive travel portal,” said Winnie Tan, co-founder of Travelogy.com Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based start-up that curates the portal. “It demonstrates that we offer a monstrous range of services that will make it easy for you to find and book your travels.”

Since its inception in 2010, TourPackages.com.sg has steadily expanded its service offerings and is now registering close to 300,000 page views a month. The one-stop travel portal not only includes a searchable database of tour packages and itineraries from Singapore tour agencies, it also contains in-depth coverage of all major travel fairs in Singapore, effectively streamlining the holiday planning process for travellers. Users are also able to browse through travel deals from the best group buying sites, credit card companies and airlines, and book hotels, flights and tours with the ease of a click.

“Our name may have changed, but rest assured we’re still the same great site you love,” she added.

In conjunction with the name change, the company has also launched a new website, http://TripZilla.com. Effective immediately, all future business activity will be conducted using the new name and website.
